Mumeen Adebayo YUSUF is a Senior lecturer and currently the Ag. Head of the Department of Geology and Mineral Sciences, Faculty of physical sciences, University of Ilorin with more than 12 years of teaching, research, and administrative experience in the University.

He has served in various capacities as student advisor and examination officer. His research areas cover hydrogeological and Hydrogeophysical assessment and mapping, groundwater flow direction and modelling, surface and groundwater interaction, aquifer vulnerability assessment, groundwater and flood potential mapping using GIS, environmental isotopes (stable and radioactive) and Geotechnical studies of soil.

Dr. Yusuf has to his credit over 20 publications in reputable journals. He has successfully supervised several undergraduate projects. He is a member of Nigerian Association of Hydrogeologist (NAH), Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), Nigerian Association of Exploration Geophysicists for Geoscientists and Engineers (NAEG), Nigerian Mining and Geoscience Society (NMGS) and The Council of Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG) Registered.
